The Papua New Guinea Journal of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
A peer-reviewed platform for advancing biophysical and socioeconomic research and innovation across the renewable resources sector. The journal emphasizes context-specific insights from geographically tropical regions, with particular attention to the diverse agroecological zones of Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific. It explores challenges and opportunities in wet and dry lowlands, high-altitude systems, and the unique constraints faced by small island environments. Contributions highlight adaptive strategies, integrated resource management, and locally grounded solutions that bridge science, policy, and practice.

Muruk
Muruk was the Journal of the Papua New Guinea Birdwatching Society and was published in 9 volumes from 1986 until 2009. It served a valuable purpose documenting significant records of New Guinea birds, and publishing notes and papers relevant to New Guinea ornithology. Most of the content is as relevant today as it was when first published - some more so.
The National Agricultural Research Institute has kindly agreed to host the Journal.
Muruk is the Tok Pisin word for Cassowary.
