Mechanizing sweet potato production

Abstract

Mechanizing sweet potato production means using machines to prepare the ground, plant the crop, and harvest the tubers. Partial mechanization of sweet potato production has been tried by various people over the years. The aim of this article is to share some of the experience gained at a few properties in the Western Highlands where conditions have allowed various amounts of mechanization.
