Learning for extension

Abstract

"Extension is education in real-life situ­ations". Agricultural Extension, then, is basically concerned with informal out-of-school training for the farmer and his family. The aim of this out-of-school training is to extend agricultural productivity for both subsistence and cash farming in order to improve the quality of life in rural areas.
