Does the method of planting sweet potato vines effect tuber yield?

Abstract

In many subsistence agricultural communities in Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and elsewhere, farmers have definite and often very different ways of planting sweet potato vines. The method of land preparation for planting sweet potato varies greatly within Papua New Guinea.
