Cattle tick and its application to the cattle industry

Abstract

In the last issue an article by Dr Owen gave a detailed account of the life cycle and various characteristics of the cattle tick (Boophilus microplus). This article deals with the practical problems related to tick fever, tick eradication, tick control and legal responsibilities of stock owners.
