Second recorded instance of the Brown Oriole Oriolus Oriolus szalayi nesting in the same tree as the Helmeted Friarbird Philemon buceroides

Abstract

The author reported the Brown Oriole Oriolus szalayi nesting in the same rain-tree Saman samanea as the Helmeted Friarbird Philemon buceroides in Popondetta in 1982 (Clapp 1982b). The present paper documents the second instance of Brown Orioles nesting in the same tree as a pair of Helmeted Friarbirds.
