Birds of the lower Sibium Mountains Papua New Guinea

Abstract

An account is given of a brief visit to the relatively unexplored Sibium Mountains, Oro Province in April 1984. Thirty-two species of birds were encountered including Lesser Melampitta, Wallace's Fairywren, Yellow-legged Flycatcher and Buff-tailed Sicklebill.
