White Pygmy-Goose

A new species for the Port Moresby area

Abstract

A female White Pygmy-goose Nettapus coromandelianus was observed on Aroa Lagoon, Central Province about 100 km west of Port Moresby in November 1987. There are no previous published records of this species in southern P.N.G.
