Gurney's Eagle Aquila gurney in The Highlands

Abstract

Gurney's Eagle Aquila gurneyi is one of the rarer eagles of the world and is confined to the island of New Guinea and its satellite islands. One was captured at Banz, Western Highlands Province at 1700 m a.s.l. in January 1988.
