Three Lesser Golden Plovers spend winter near Port Moresby

Abstract

Three Lesser Golden Plovers (Pluvialis dominica) were present at the pacific Adventist College near Port Moresby from April to September 1989. Normally this migrant species is absent during this period.

Note: this taxon is now Pacific Golden Plover (Pluvialis fulva).
