Bird sightings from Lake Teburu

Abstract

Lake Teburu is a rarely visited body of water in northern Gulf Province near the confluence o f the Pio and Purari rivers at about 600 m elevation. A report is presented of bird species seen on the lake in a five hour visit in October 1991.
