Birds reported on Tingwon Island, New Ireland 18-20 May 1999.

Abstract

The Tingwon Islands are to the north-west of New Ireland. One is inhabited and two are tiny sand islands. A three day expedition was undertaken in May 1999, mainly to investigate the status of Nicobar Pigeon (Caloenas nicobarica). A list of all birds species seen is presented.
