Bulwer's Petrel (Bulweria bulwerii) new to Papua New Guinea and Melanesia

Abstract

During numerous boat trips in 1997-8, Bulwer's Petrel Bulweria bulwerii was seen on three dates around Mussau in Papua New Guinean seas and another two dates in the Solomon Islands in 1997-98. The details of the sightings are presented here.
