Brus tobacco for natives.

Abstract

Increased prices and irregularity of transport have added to the difficulties of the planter with regard to the issue of tobacco rations to native labourers. "Brus" , or air-cured tobacco, is recommended as issue instead the manufactured article. This is accepted by the natives, even preferred by many bush natives who have not become accustomed to the manufactured article.
