Two Weevil Pests of Coffee in New Guinea (Coleoptera).

Abstract

In a small collection of Curculionidae received for identification from Dr. J. J. H. Szent-Ivany, Entomologist, Department of Agriculture, Stock and Fisheries, Port Moresby, were two species that were noted as being of some importance as pests of coffee. They both proved to
be new to science and are described below. The types are in the British Museum (Natural History), and cotypes in the collection at Port Moresby.
