The Coffee Industry of Papua and New Guinea.

Abstract

Although coffee was first introduced into New Guinea late in the last century by the German Administration, no serious commercial production occurred until 1950. High world prices in the immediate post-war years were the main stimulant for the industry which has concentrated on the production of arabica coffees.
