Diseases of Coconut in Papua and New Guinea.

Abstract

Coconut in Papua and New Guinea are free from serious diseases caused by organisms, the few diseases which do occur being of only minor importance. One of the factors which has contributed to this position is the prohibition against unrestricted importation and the rigorous quarantine measures in operation.
