Abstract

The major research techniques employed in the study of the rapidly expanding Papua New Guinea skipjack Katsuwonus pelamis fishery are detailed. The objectives of the total research effort and aims of the individual strategies are briefly dismissed. A brief summary of the results of each aspect is presented.
