Tuna Offal Meal for Growing Pigs.

Abstract

Tuna offal meal was produced in experimental quantities by a tuna processing factory at Kaifeng. In the first trial it was compared with two imported fishmeals and found to be inferior. In a second experiment three levels of tuna meal were compared with or without a vitamin-trace element supplement. The supplement produced highly significant beneficial effects on performance. The level of fishmeal also had some effect, but this was much smaller than that due to the supplement.
