An agricultural survey of the Markham Valley in the Morobe District
Abstract
This tract of country presents most interesting features, and it merits a detailed description as it appears from many points of view to be one of the most promising in the Territory of New Guinea (together with the Rama and Purari Valleys) for the grazing of cattle, and the possible development of native agriculture under administrative supervision.
